Before 1940, antibiotics were magical drugs used as growth promoters, during the processing, storage and transportation of food products to check secondary contaminations and for the treatment of various bacterial ailments (Byarugaba, 2004). However, very frequent, inappropriate and irrational use of antibiotics against various microorganisms had a continuous survival pressure as a warning to their life and this pressure forced them to express various resistance genes in equilibrium with environment to support the rise of antibiotic resistance to counteract antimicrobial approaches and to develop antibiotic resistance, indeed (Soulsby, 2005; Zhang et al., 2006).
