Newsletters on Stratigraphy is a peer-reviewed international journal that focuses on stratigraphic issues relevant to a broad spectrum of the Earth sciences. The papers published in this journal utilize and ideally integrate stratigraphic methods from various disciplines, including but not limited to biostratigraphy, chronostratigraphy, chemostratigraphy, and magnetostratigraphy. The results are significant for paleogeographic reconstructions, paleoceanography, and paleoclimatology. The journal includes original research articles, background information on ongoing work from the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS) and the International Stratigraphic Classification Committee (ISSC), as well as review articles. There are no page charges for the publication of regular papers.
