The European Journal of Psychology of Education (EJPE) is a quarterly journal that aims to publish high-quality papers addressing psychological aspects of educational processes across different institutional, social, and cultural contexts, with a particular focus on diversity in education, including participants, their educational trajectories, and their socio-cultural backgrounds. Authors are strongly encouraged to employ a variety of theoretical and methodological tools developed in educational psychology to gain new insights through the integration of diverse perspectives. We invite authors to engage meaningfully with different theoretical and methodological tools, seeking new knowledge that can emerge from the combination of various theories and methodologies, rather than reinforcing divisions and distances between different communities due to theoretical and methodological backgrounds. EJPE is open to all papers that reflect original psychological research findings related to educational processes, as well as outstanding theoretical and review papers that integrate current knowledge and pave the way for future research. Assuming that diversity creates significant opportunities for new knowledge, the editorial team particularly encourages submissions from authors in underrepresented countries and regions, as well as young researchers, to submit their work and engage in the review process, which may be challenging but also offers opportunities for learning and inspiration.
