The International Journal of Wireless Information Networks serves as an international forum for researchers in the telecommunications and computer industries to disseminate knowledge related to wireless information networks. This distinguished quarterly publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed original papers covering applications such as sensor and mobile ad hoc networks, wireless personal area networks, wireless local area networks, mobile data networks, location-aware networks and services, as well as radio frequency localization and RFID technologies. The journal also addresses performance prediction methods, radio propagation studies, modulation and coding, multiple access techniques, security and privacy considerations, antenna and RF subsystem design, VLSI and ASIC design, experimental testing, traffic and frequency management, and network signaling and architecture. Published papers are categorized into four types: invited papers (reviewing current and future directions), overview reports (elaborating on standards and technical details of field trials), technical papers (presenting specific technical contributions of archival value), and letters (enhancements to previously published works, statements of unresolved issues, comments and corrections on published papers). The International Journal of Wireless Information Networks aims to meet the needs of academic researchers engaged in fundamental research, telecommunications and computer engineers involved in the design, planning, operation, and maintenance of cutting-edge wireless information networks, as well as the telecommunications and computer technology community participating in applied research and standardization activities.
