The journal "Applicable Algebra in Engineering, Communications and Computing" publishes mathematically rigorous original research papers that report on algebraic methods and techniques relevant to all associated fields, particularly in computing, intelligent systems, and communications. The scope includes, but is not limited to, vision, robotics, system design, fault tolerance and reliability of systems, VLSI technology, signal processing, signal theory, coding, error control techniques, cryptography, protocol specification, networking, software engineering, arithmetic, algorithms, complexity, computer algebra, programming languages, logic and functional programming, algebraic specifications, term rewriting systems, theorem proving, graphics, modeling, knowledge engineering, expert systems, and methodologies in artificial intelligence. While the journal does not primarily seek purely theoretical papers, it is interested in papers addressing issues in areas such as commutative or non-commutative algebra, group theory, field theory, or real algebraic geometry, provided their applications contribute to the aforementioned fields. Additionally, papers on technology transfer from engineering that can stimulate or illustrate research on applicable algorithms are also within the journal's scope.
