Accounts of Chemical Research publishes concise, clear, and critical articles that provide accessible overviews of fundamental research and applications across all areas of chemistry and biochemistry. Additionally, Accounts of Chemical Research publishes special issues focused on single topics of unusual activity and significance. You can visit the Accounts of Chemical Research Special Issues page to view a list of all special issues, their descriptions, and tables of contents. Since 2008, Accounts of Chemical Research has replaced traditional article abstracts with 'CONSPECTUS.' These new entries summarize the research, allowing readers to gain a deeper understanding of the content and significance of the articles. Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
