Acta Mycologica is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and short communications in all areas of mycology, including fungus-like organisms (such as slime molds, yeasts, lichens, oomycetes, etc.) across various ecosystems. Specifically, the journal covers: ecology, taxonomy, conservation, and systematics of fungi; fungal physiology, biochemistry, and molecular genetics; interactions between fungi and plants (including pathogens, mycorrhizas, and endophytes), fungi and animals, and fungi and microbes; as well as applied aspects of mycology in forestry, agriculture, and biotechnology. Reviews of books related to mycology and in memoriam articles are also welcome.
