The International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering publishes original papers that describe significant and novel developments in numerical methods applicable to engineering problems. The journal is known for welcoming contributions across a wide range of computational engineering fields, including computational issues in model simplification, uncertainty quantification, validation and verification, inverse analysis and stochastic methods, optimization, element techniques, solution techniques and parallel computing, damage and fracture, micromechanics and nanomechanics, low-speed fluid dynamics, fluid-structure interaction, electromagnetics, coupled diffusion phenomena, as well as error estimation and mesh generation. It is important to emphasize that this is by no means an exhaustive list, and papers on multiscale, multiphysics, or interdisciplinary issues, as well as emerging topics, are especially encouraged.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
Books Citation Format
Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.

Sometimes references to web sites should appear directly in the text rather than in the bibliography.
