Ornis Fennica is an international ornithological journal published by BirdLife Finland, which is peer-reviewed. The journal publishes analytical and experimental papers on bird ecology, behavior, and biogeography. While Ornis Fennica prefers studies on Fennoscandian species, it also welcomes novel contributions of general interest. The journal is open access and does not charge publication fees. All articles published since 1924 are freely available on the journal's website. The first decision is usually made within three months after submission.
