Die Romanischen Forschungen sind eine der ältesten deutschen Fachzeitschriften. Ihr Gegenstand sind die romanischen Sprachen, Literaturen und Kulturen von den Anfängen bis zur Gegenwart. Herausgeber und Beirat pflegen die Verbindung von Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaft und bevorzugen Beiträge und Rezensionen mit einer gesamtromanischen Fragestellung. Die Publikationssprachen sind außer allen romanischen Sprachen das Deutsche und Englische. Die hohe Qualität der Beiträge wird durch ein strenges peer-review-Verfahren gewährleistet.

A lo largo de la historia del español, varios sustantivos han vacilado entre un género y otro, por ejemplo, amor, honor, calor, y color, mientras que otros han cambiado de género por completo, por ejemplo, labor y sal cambiaron de masculino a femenino, mientras que árbol, origen y valle cambiaron de femenino a masculino, y arte cambió de femenino a masculino solo en singular. El presente artículo tratará el sustantivo español árbol y: (1) mostrará el grado en que árbol apareció como masculino y femenino tanto en singular como en plural en español antiguo y cuándo el cambio a masculino fue completo tanto en singular como en plural; (2) considerará las diversas hipótesis que se han propuesto para explicar este cambio; y (3) analizará las formas del Lat. El sabor de la tierruca (1882) is Pereda's first regional novel. In his previous ideological works, the author had written that the threat to the ancestral system was political. It originated on the liberal policies coming from the nation's capital. In his first regional novel he claims otherwise, for he sees a much insidious threat growing within the system: the absenteeism of the ruling class of hidalgos. Attracted by the comforts of urban life, the hidalgos abandoned rural towns leaving their communities without political leadership and without spiritual guidance. El sabor de la tierruca tells the story of the return of the good hidalgo to the native land. In this novel Pereda offers a story that deals with time and with the survival of the community kept together under the guidance of a leader who has accepted his historical commitment to preserve an ancestral form of life.

Diderot's writings bear witness to his admiration for people and their achievements, whether technical or artistic. After recalling the history of the notion of admiration, we saw that, in the article *Admiration, Diderot defines admiration as prolonged astonishment, subject to the approval of reason. In opposition to Saint-Evremond, for whom admiration is the mark of a small mind, Diderot asserts that while admiration of a common thing is the mark of little spirit, admiration of a masterpiece can elevate the soul. This article of the Encyclopédie is the first in which Diderot uses the expression »ideal model«, the meaning of which is still close to that of Abbé Batteux. This expression plays a decisive role in the Discours sur la poésie dramatique, the Salons , the Paradoxe sur le comédien. Admiration is thus a driving force behind Diderot's aesthetic thinking.

Le théâtre européen de la Renaissance est un genre innovateur sur scène mais aussi sur le marché du livre qui se constitue à partir d'un dispositif de production et de distribution bénéficiant de l'invention de l'imprimerie avec des caractères mobiles. Ce nouveau marché favorise, dans les années 1500 à 1550, l'élargissement et la diversification du public et commence à prendre en compte la mouvance de la réception du texte littéraire. L'article, qui se base sur une étude plus exhaustive, souligne la spécificité littéraire du genre dramatique dans ce dispositif de l'imprimerie en analysant un cas particulier, le Lyon marchant de Barthélemy Aneau (1542). Cette pièce cryptique issue d'une pratique théâtrale enracinée dans son contexte de l'humanisme lyonnais est lue, ici, comme allégorie d'une ouverture herméneutique produite par le théâtre imprimé de l'époque.

Las formas del futuro (y condicional) de bendecir y maldecir son anómalas porque son regulares, por ejemplo bendeciré, maldeciré, mientras que en la mayoría de los demás tiempos y modos son irregulares y se alinean morfológicamente con las de decir, por ejemplo digo , ben digo , mal digo ; dije , ben dije , mal dije , etc. La regularidad del futuro / condicional de estos dos verbos se vuelve aún más sorprendente cuando uno considera que las formas del futuro / condicional eran irregulares en español antiguo, por ejemplo ben dir é, mal dir é. El presente artículo intenta explicar por qué estas formas se regularizaron en el futuro / condicional mientras que las formas de la mayoría de los demás tiempos y modos han permanecido irregulares y alineadas con las de decir. Se propone aquí que la regularización del futuro / condicional de bendecir y maldecir se debe a la estructura de sus participios pasados, dada la estrecha conexión entre el infinitivo y el participio pasado a lo largo de la historia de las lenguas romances, junto con el hecho de que, tanto el infinitivo como el participio pasado han estado unidos estructuralmente por el verbo auxiliar haber a través de la historia del español.
