Papers may cover all aspects of textile activities, from fiber production to textile processes and machinery, to the design, marketing, and use of products. We also welcome reports of fundamental theoretical or experimental research, including materials science topics in nanotechnology and smart materials, practical or commercial industrial research, and may involve the technical, economic, aesthetic, social, or historical aspects of textiles and the textile industry. All published research articles in the Journal of the Textile Institute undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial editorial screening and anonymous reviews by two experts.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
