Acarologia is a free open-access journal. Please follow the guidelines below when submitting your manuscript to assist us in processing. All manuscripts that do not comply with the guidelines will be returned to the authors and will not be accepted for review. Acarologia publishes original research findings on various aspects of acarology. The journal's policy is that taxonomic descriptions should, whenever possible, include multiple species within the same genus or family. The editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts if authors intentionally split the description of a single species within the same genus or family into different publications. Descriptions of single species should be based on their scientific interest.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
