The Archives of Gerontology and Geriatrics is an academic journal focused on experimental gerontology as well as clinical and social geriatrics. The primary aim of this journal is to facilitate the exchange of information among experts in these three fields. We welcome the submission of experimental research papers that address the fundamental mechanisms of aging at the molecular, cellular, tissue, or organ levels. Clinical studies will be considered for publication if they provide sufficiently new information or are fundamentally important to the understanding of human aging. Purely descriptive clinical papers will only be accepted if the results allow for further interpretation. Additionally, we welcome research papers on human anti-aging drug formulations. Papers addressing the social aspects of geriatrics will also be accepted, provided they have general interest in the efficiency and methodologies of aging epidemiology and elderly care social organizations.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
