The journal "Applied Animal Behaviour Science" publishes research related to the domestication and utilization of animal behavior. Topics covered include: the behavior of farm, zoo, and laboratory animals in relation to animal management and welfare; behavioral issues in companion animals, such as training dogs for various purposes; and studies of wild animal behavior when relevant from an applied perspective, particularly in relation to wildlife management, pest control, or conservation. The primary subjects of research are farm animals, companion animals, and laboratory animals, including poultry. Additionally, the journal addresses the following animal topics: animals involved in any agricultural system, such as deer, rabbits, and fur-bearing animals; any form of confinement, such as zoos, wildlife parks, and other forms of display; and any animal species that impact agricultural operations, such as those causing loss or damage. In some cases, species used for hunting and recreation may also be considered acceptable subjects, provided that the materials relate to their behavioral requirements, including laboratory animals.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
