ALGEBRA COLLOQUIUM是1994年初创刊的国际数学期刊，由中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院与苏州大学联合主编，英文版每季3月、6月、9月和12月出版。 .代数学术讨论会载有纯代数和应用代数领域的高水平原创研究文章。也考虑发表来自相关领域且适用于代数的论文。本刊旨在反映代数的最新发展，促进国际学术交流。

The Algebra Colloquium is an international mathematics journal founded in 1994, co-published by the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Soochow University. The English version is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. The journal features high-quality original research articles in pure and applied algebra, and also considers papers from related fields that are applicable to algebra. The aim of this journal is to reflect the latest developments in algebra and to promote international academic exchange.

A group [Formula: see text] is said to be autocapable if there exists a group [Formula: see text] such that [Formula: see text] is isomorphic to the absolute central factor group [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we first prove that if [Formula: see text] is a characteristic subgroup of an autocapable group [Formula: see text], then [Formula: see text] is neither the generalized quaternion group nor the semi-dihedral group. Next, we give the classification of finite groups [Formula: see text] if [Formula: see text] is a 2-group of maximal class.

Suppose that [Formula: see text] is a [Formula: see text]-transitive graph. In this paper, we give a characterization of the vertex-stabilizer [Formula: see text] when [Formula: see text] has valency 8.

Let [Formula: see text] be an arbitrary acyclic quiver and [Formula: see text] an abelian category satisfying [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. Let [Formula: see text] be the category of [Formula: see text]-valued representations of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] its full subcategory consisting of representations with 0 at vertex [Formula: see text]. We construct a recollement of [Formula: see text] by [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. If in addition, [Formula: see text] has enough projective and injective objects, and satisfies [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text], then this recollement can be lifted to the derived levels. In the case that [Formula: see text] is finite and [Formula: see text] is the module category [Formula: see text] over some finite dimensional algebra [Formula: see text], we give several direct applications concerning the relationship between homological properties of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. In particular, we find that the Cartan determinant conjecture always holds true for [Formula: see text] with [Formula: see text] an even number.

Two graphs are called cospectral if their adjacency matrices have the same spectrum. We construct a large family of cospectral non-isomorphic Cayley digraphs over the dihedral group of order [Formula: see text] for [Formula: see text].

On completely regular semirings, we give alternative characterizations for the kernel of a congruence and idempotent pure congruences. Then we give alternative characterizations for the trace of a congruence and idempotent separating congruences. In addition, we conclude that a congruence is uniquely determined by its kernel and trace.
