Our focus here is on examining the behavior of a boundary layer that regulates the movement of a non-Newtonian fluid undergoing a chemical reaction on a radiative paraboloid surface. This includes studying the fluid's movement, temperature, and mass transfer. The fluid being studied pertains to the Williamson fluid model, which is described as a type of extended Newtonian fluid. We have considered the effects of Joule heating and dissipation through viscous phenomena based on the rules of heat and mass movement. The equations in the mathematical structure of partial differential equations (PDEs) governing the fluid continue to flow model in the problem. A subsequent evolution of these equations into ODEs by incorporating similarity variables. The velocity field's schematic behavior is attributable to the magnetic parameter, thickness parameter, and the Weissenberg number, which exhibit velocity profile decline. In this research, both thermal radiation and Eckert number are highlighted, and it is concluded that both of these variables substantially raise the temperature field. We continue to track the concentration-reducing chemical reaction characteristic that remains tracked along with concentration transfer. Furthermore, the study includes a comprehensive presentation of comparative analyses with previously published scholarly works.

Numerical investigation of Williamson fluid in presence of chemical reaction towards a parabolic surface

Current research work is statistical approach and numerical extractions-based flow optimization. The flow of non-Newtonian model Casson-Williamson nanofluid across a curved melting stretched sheet is considered for the analysis. The study is emphasized in presence of Joule heating, nonlinear radiation, exponential heat propagation, Soret and Dufour effects, and a Stefan-blowing peripheral condition. Irreversibility in the flow is scrutinized along with the irreversibility ratio. Solutions to the problem are given by Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg tool of fourth-fifth order. ANOVA-Taguchi methodology is employed to obtain the optimal condition for maximum heat transfer rate. The important revelation is the striking differences between the temperature profile for Soret and Dufour effects and concentration profile, which suggests concentration profile as more dynamic. The mass transfer profile is also negatively impacted by the Stefan-blowing parameter. Also, for the temperature-ratio parameter, entropy exhibits a dual character, it decreases towards the boundary and increases further from it. Taguchi method has disclosed that third level of radiation parameter, Eckert number, and Prandtl number, with first level of Dufour number and second level of thermophoresis parameter, produces an optimal arrangement to obtain maximum Nusselt number. The maximum heat transfer rate is 3.29574 which is a classic revelation by the statistical analysis.

Efficient high-speed bone drilling with an automated osteonecrosis avoidance strategy is a very fascinating task to the orthopaedic surgeons. Several drilling parameters such as drill diameter, speed, and feed rate can affect the performance of drilling in terms of generated temperature and thrust force. This research is conducted using a high-speed mini CNC machine to investigate bone drilling parameters' impact on the outputs. Here, a piece of swine bone has been used for testing material and an automated cooling system based on proportional controller (P) was developed to prevent osteonecrosis. Further, a hybrid Artificial Neural Network-Genetic Algorithm (ANN-GA) model has been proposed based on the different experimental findings. ANN predicts output variables, and GA determines the optimal input drilling parameters by minimizing the ANN model of temperature and force. The simulation results revealed that drill diameter of 1.838 mm, speed of 17,880 rpm, and feed rate of 9.973 mm/min minimized the output temperature generated on swine bone. Similarly, diameter of 1.5 mm, speed of 16,582 rpm, and 10 mm/min feed rate helped to minimize the generated force during drilling. The proposed model has been validated by conducting new experiments based on these obtained optimal parameters.
