Drug Development Research focuses on research topics related to the discovery and development of new therapeutic entities. The journal publishes original research articles on drug chemistry, pharmacology, biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals, toxicology, as well as drug delivery, formulation, and pharmacokinetics. We welcome manuscripts on new compounds and technologies from all fields, with a particular emphasis on human therapeutics and global management, healthcare policy, and regulatory issues related to the drug discovery and development process. In addition to full-length research articles, Drug Development Research also publishes brief reports on significant and timely new research findings, as well as in-depth review articles. The journal regularly features special topics that focus on specific classes of compounds, new technologies, and the broad aspects of drug discovery and development.
