With the rapid development of analog and digital signal processing in communication, control, and computer systems, the theory of circuits and signal processing has emerged as a new field of research and design. The aim of "Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing" is to meet the demand for significant research papers and review articles in this field. The journal covers a wide range of topics, laying the mathematical foundation for practical engineering design. This includes, but is not limited to, linear and nonlinear networks, distributed circuits and systems, multidimensional signals and systems, analog filters and signal processing, digital filters and signal processing, statistical signal processing, multimedia, computer-aided design, graph theory, neural systems, communication circuits and systems, and VLSI signal processing. The editorial board is international, welcoming submissions from around the world. The journal primarily publishes research papers but also includes survey, tutorial, and explanatory articles. "Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing" is published 12 times a year.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors

Books Citation Format

Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.

Sometimes references to web sites should appear directly in the text rather than in the bibliography.
