The Australian Family Physician aims to provide relevant, evidence-based information to Australian general practitioners (GPs) to assist them in delivering the highest quality patient care. This applies to the diverse geographic and social contexts in which GPs operate, as well as to all roles of GPs, including clinician, researcher, educator, practice team member, and opinion leader. All articles undergo a peer-review process before acceptance for publication. The journal is indexed in MEDLINE, Index Medicus, and Science Citation Index Expanded.
