Acta Entomologica Musei Nationalis Pragae is an open-access journal that publishes research on insect systematics, morphology and biology of adults and immature stages, phylogenetics, and large catalogues. The journal accepts the following types of papers: insect systematics, taxonomy, and nomenclature; morphology and biology of adults and immature stages and their applications in taxonomy and phylogenetics; phylogenetic studies based at least partially on morphological traits; catalogues applicable for further taxonomic and biodiversity research; and general papers on methodology in insect taxonomy.
