Acta Academica is an academic journal focused on the humanities. It publishes scholarly articles that critically examine society, culture, and politics, both past and present, from a social theory perspective. The journal is also interested in research that explores how the humanities in the 21st century are addressing the dual imperative of theorizing the world and changing it. Acta Academica is published quarterly, with two of its issues thematically focused. The journal is published in English.
