Atmosphere - Ocean is the primary scientific journal of the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS). It features original research findings, survey articles, commentaries, and reviews of published papers across all fields of atmospheric, oceanic, and hydrological sciences. The journal particularly emphasizes research in the Arctic, coastal, and mid-to-high latitude regions. Contributions in English or French are welcome on the following topics: climate and climatology; observational techniques and remote sensing; forecasting, modeling, and numerical methods; physics, dynamics, chemistry, and biogeochemistry; boundary layers, pollution, and aerosols; circulation, cloud physics, hydrology, and air-sea interactions; waves, ice, energy exchanges, and related environmental themes.
