The Journal of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing original research findings in the fields of soil science, plant nutrition, agriculture, and environmental science. Submissions related to soil science may cover aspects such as physics, chemistry, biology, microbiology, mineralogy, ecology, soil science, soil classification, and improvement. Submissions in plant nutrition and agriculture may include studies on plant production, plant physiology and metabolism, plant ecology, diversity and sustainability of agricultural systems, and the effects of organic and inorganic fertilization on the yield and quality of plants and ecosystems. The journal also welcomes submissions addressing soil degradation, environmental pollution, nature conservation, and environmental protection. The journal considers original research articles, technical notes, brief communications, and reviews (both voluntary and invited), as well as letters to the editor.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
Books Citation Format
Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.
