The International Journal of Production Economics focuses on topics at the interface between engineering and management, covering all aspects related to manufacturing, processing industries, and general production. By nature, the journal combines high standards of traditional academic methods with the practical value of industrial applications. Accepted articles must be based on rigorous theoretical frameworks and contain significant novel scientific contributions. Tracking the economic and financial implications while analyzing issues and solutions is a central theme of the journal.
