The primary aim of the journal "Biological Rhythm Research" is to cover a wide range of topics related to the study of biological rhythms. The areas of research can span from genetic and molecular studies to behavioral and clinical topics. It also includes research on ultradian rhythms, circadian rhythms, infradian rhythms, and seasonal rhythms. In this way, the editorial board seeks to stimulate interdisciplinary research on rhythms. This goal not only reflects the similarities in methods used across different fields of chronobiology but also highlights the common effects of various controlling or masking factors. Among these factors, there is a particular focus on the impact of climate change on living organisms. Therefore, papers involving bioclimatology are also welcome. The journal publishes original scientific research articles, review papers, brief reports on ongoing research, book reviews, event summaries, and discussions from national and international organizations addressing rhythmic phenomena.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors

Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.
