"Medizinische Genetik" is a scientific journal owned and published by the German Society of Human Genetics (E.V.) since its inception in 1989. Founded by Professor JAN MURKEN in Munich, the journal was published by the society until 2006, then by SPRINGER VERLAG from 2007 to 2019, and has been published by DE GRUYTER since 2020. "Medizinische Genetik" aims to provide education and training for colleagues, facilitating interdisciplinary knowledge exchange in all areas of human genetics, including clinical practice, research, and teaching. Each quarterly issue focuses on a specific theme, providing a comprehensive overview of current developments in particular clinical cases, technological advancements, and treatment methods. All reviews are written in English, creating a platform for international knowledge exchange and enhancing awareness of German research activities within the scientific community. Additionally, the German section of "Medizinische Genetik" includes information about its own disciplinary activities, such as conference reports, association announcements, personnel matters, statements, and guidelines. By addressing health policy issues, historical reviews, and commentary on current developments, the journal takes a stance on human genetic issues in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 2 authors
