Over the past decade, there has been significant development in the fields of knee surgery, arthroscopy, and sports traumatology. This European journal, titled 'Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy', ranks in the top 33% of journals in orthopedics and sports sciences. The journal aims to publish research papers on innovative knee surgeries, sports trauma surgeries, and arthroscopic techniques. Each issue features a series of peer-reviewed articles covering diagnosis, management, and fundamental research. Additionally, there is at least one review article addressing important clinical issues in each issue. We also welcome case reports or brief descriptions regarding technological innovations. The articles encompass all aspects of knee surgery and various types of sports injuries, including epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and all forms of arthroscopy (not limited to the knee, but also including the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, and ankle). The journal publishes high-quality articles on new diagnostic techniques such as MRI and ultrasound, as well as on the biomechanics of joints, muscles, and tendons. While primarily a clinical journal, it is also open to fundamental research with clinical relevance. Supported by an outstanding European editorial board and an international advisory committee, the journal maintains the highest academic standards.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
