Antarctic Science provides a truly international forum for the wide dissemination of research that increasingly characterizes Antarctic science. The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary work and publishes papers covering a broad range of topics, from environmental management and biodiversity to volcanology, glaciology, oceanography, and the upper atmosphere. No other journal covers such a wide array of Antarctic scientific research. It attracts submissions from all countries currently engaged in Antarctic research. The journal accepts commentaries and data papers of unlimited length, as well as short notes on technical developments and recent discoveries, and book reviews. Together with editorials discussing broader aspects of science, these provide a rich and diverse array of offerings to engage researchers across all scientific fields. Authors publishing in the journal are not charged page or color fees. Each annual issue typically focuses on a specific theme or papers from major conferences.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
