Equine Veterinary Education is the official postgraduate education journal published by the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) and the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP). This journal integrates clinical research papers, review articles, and case reports from international sources, covering various aspects of medicine and surgery related to equine species. The papers aim to disseminate and implement new ideas and techniques relevant to clinical veterinary practice, ultimately promoting best practices. New developments are contextualized, including new concepts and peer reviews. The primary audience consists of veterinarians engaged in equine medicine and surgery. The educational value of submitted articles is one of the most important criteria for acceptance. While articles do not necessarily need to contain original or novel information, we welcome submissions of such material. The educational value of an article may be related to the articles published alongside it (for example, a case report may not have direct educational value, but related clinical reviews or commentary published with it can enhance its educational value).

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
