The European Journal of Industrial Relations embraces a broad definition of industrial relations, including articles related to all aspects of work and employment. It publishes rigorous and innovative research from all European countries, spanning from the Atlantic to the Urals. All social science disciplines are relevant to its remit, and interdisciplinary approaches are particularly encouraged. A major objective is to foster cross-national comparative analysis; in this context, work that relates European developments to broader global experiences is also welcome.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
