Traditional knowledge refers to the knowledge, innovations, and practices of indigenous and local communities that embody traditional ways of life. This wisdom has developed over generations through the holistic scientific use of land, natural resources, and the environment, often passed down orally and typically without written records. Traditional knowledge remains effective and necessary in modern society, awaiting broader applications to benefit humanity. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) recognizes the need to document the latest developments and historical information in this field through an interdisciplinary journal. The Indian Journal of Traditional Knowledge will publish original research papers, review articles, and short communications related to observations and experimental investigations of biological activities, focusing on materials from plants, animals, and minerals used in traditional healthcare systems such as Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, Unani, naturopathy, homeopathy, and folk medicine. As a validation of indigenous claims, it will cover areas such as ethnobiology, ethnomedicine, ethnopharmacology, and clinical efficacy research.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
