Air target intent recognition holds significant importance in aiding commanders to assess battlefield situations and secure a competitive edge in decision-making. Progress in this domain has been hindered by challenges posed by imbalanced battlefield data and the limited robustness of traditional recognition models. Inspired by the success of diffusion models in addressing visual domain sample imbalances, this paper introduces a new approach that utilizes the Markov Transfer Field (MTF) method for time series data visualization. This visualization, when combined with the Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Model (DDPM), effectively enhances sample data and mitigates noise within the original dataset. Additionally, a transformer-based model tailored for time series visualization and air target intent recognition is developed. Comprehensive experimental results, encompassing comparative, ablation, and denoising validations, reveal that the proposed method achieves a notable 98.86% accuracy in air target intent recognition while demonstrating exceptional robustness and generalization capabilities. This approach represents a promising avenue for advancing air target intent recognition.

Air target intent recognition method combining graphing time series and diffusion models

In this work, two-stage diffusion bonding of micro-duplex TC4 titanium alloy was carried out to study the flow behavior and constitutive models of the bonding joint and the base metal after the same thermal cycling during the hot forming process. Microstructure and mechanical properties test were used to verify the good quality of the equiaxed fine grain diffusion-welded TC4 alloy. Quasi-static tensile experiment was carried out at temperatures ranging from 750–900 °C and strain rates of 0.0001–0.1 s−1. The joint showed the weak dynamic recovery at strain rates of 0.01–0.1 s−1 and temperatures of 750–850 °C. At strain rates of 0.0001–0.001 s−1 and temperatures of 850–900 °C, the flow stress of joint presented steady-state characteristics. Different deformation conditions lead to the remarkable difference of dynamic softening performance between the joint and heat-treated base metal, but the flow stress in elastic and strain hardening stages exhibited similar behavior. The strain compensated Arrhenius-type constitutive models of TC4 joint and heat-treated base metal were developed respectively. The fifth-order polynomial functions between the material property correlation coefficients and strain were obtained. The models have shown good correlation, with correlation coefficient values of 0.984 and 0.99. The percentage average absolute relative error for the models were found to be 10% and 9.46%, respectively.

Hot deformation behavior and strain compensation constitutive model of equiaxed fine grain diffusion-welded micro-duplex TC4 titanium alloy

Load simulator is a key test equipment for aircraft actuation systems in hardware-in-the-loop-simulation. Static loading is an essential function of the load simulator and widely used in the static/dynamic stiffness test of aircraft actuation systems. The tracking performance of the static loading is studied in this paper. Firstly, the nonlinear mathematical models of the hydraulic load simulator are derived, and the feedback linearization method is employed to construct a feed-forward controller to improve the force tracking performance. Considering the effect of the friction, a LuGre model based friction compensation is synthesized, in which the unmeasurable state is estimated by a dual state observer via a controlled learning mechanism to guarantee that the estimation is bounded. The modeling errors are attenuated by a well-designed robust controller with a control accuracy measured by a design parameter. Employing the dual state observer is to capture the different effects of the unmeasured state and hence can improve the friction compensation accuracy. The tracking performance is summarized by a derived theorem. Experimental results are also obtained to verify the high performance nature of the proposed control strategy.

Robust Control for Static Loading of Electro-hydraulic Load Simulator with Friction Compensation

Along with the survey on experimental investigations drawing attention to the drag and heat reduction mechanism, the authors simultaneously focus on the recent advances of numerical simulations on the schemes applied to supersonic/hypersonic vehicles. The CFD study has evolved as an irreplaceable method in scheme evaluation and aircraft optimization. Similar to our previous experimental survey, the advances in drag and heat reduction schemes are reviewed by similar kinds of mechanism in this article, namely the forward-facing cavity, the opposing jet, the aerospike, the energy deposition and their combinational configurations. This review article puts an emphatic eye on the flow conditions, numerical methods, novel schemes and analytical conclusions given in the simulations. Further, the multi-objective design optimization concept has also been illustrated due to the observable advantages of using CFD over experimental method, especially those performances conducted in drag reduction and thermal protection practice, and this would possess reference value in the design of aircraft system.

A survey on numerical simulations of drag and heat reduction mechanism in supersonic/hypersonic flows

The tire spray produced by aircraft running on wet runways may enter the intake of engines, which may lead to the compressor stall, surge, or even combustion flameout. Therefore, it is necessary to do some research work on the tire spray to help to solve this problem. Firstly, the mechanism of tire spray is analyzed, and some parameters are defined to describe the spray pattern. Secondly, the numerical model of tire spray is established by coupled Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) and Finite Element Method (FEM) in LS-DYNA software, and the model is validated by a simplified water spray experiment. Then some influence factors on the spray pattern are studied by numerical simulation. Finally, some suggestions are proposed on different types of aircraft to avoid too much tire spray being ingested into the engine intakes.
