Eurosurveillance aims to be the authoritative and representative public health voice for the infectious disease community in Europe and beyond. Our primary focus is on Europe, while encouraging authors from other parts of the world to submit articles that add value for European audiences. Our main objectives are: to provide facts and guidance for health professionals and decision-makers to promote the implementation of effective prevention and control measures; to support Europe's preparedness and response to health threats, including relevant outbreaks or emergencies, by rapidly disseminating high-quality authoritative scientific information; to provide a Europe-specific platform for health professionals to share scientific findings on the epidemiology, prevention, and control of infectious diseases; to disseminate infectious disease surveillance data and publish analyses and interpretations of these data; and, where possible, to encourage authors from all EU countries to enhance the impact and quality of national infectious disease information.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
