The Journal of Electromyography and Kinesiology is a leading source of original research articles that explore various aspects of human movement, from muscle contractions through motor units and sensory systems to integrated movements detected by mechanical and electrical technologies. As the official publication of the International Society of Electrophysiology and Kinesiology, the journal is dedicated to publishing the best works in all areas of electromyography and kinesiology, including topics such as motor control, muscle fatigue, muscle and nerve properties, joint biomechanics, and electrical stimulation. We welcome applied research articles in the fields of rehabilitation, exercise and training, motion analysis, ergonomics, alternative and complementary medicine, human performance measurement, and electromyographic signal processing techniques.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors
