The Colloid Journal is the only journal in Russia that publishes research findings in the field of chemical sciences, focusing on the dispersion states of substances and surface phenomena in dispersion systems. This journal covers both experimental and theoretical studies on various colloids and surface phenomena, including the structure and properties of interfaces, adsorption phenomena of surfactants and the structure of adsorption layers, capillary phenomena, wetting films, wetting and spreading, and cleaning power. The journal also discusses the formation of colloidal systems, their molecular dynamics and optical properties, surface forces, interactions between colloidal particles, stability, and criteria for the loss of stability in different dispersion systems (such as sols, aerosols, suspensions, emulsions, foams, and micellar systems). Additionally, the Colloid Journal includes topics on electrophoresis and diffusion, electro-osmosis and thermal osmosis phenomena, as well as capillary and reverse osmosis phenomena, particularly addressing the phenomena involving molecular and ionic diffusion layers present near interfaces.

Journal Citation Format

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.

A journal article with 1 author

A journal article with 2 authors

A journal article with 3 authors

A journal article with 5 or more authors

Books Citation Format

Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.

Sometimes references to web sites should appear directly in the text rather than in the bibliography.
