Fungal Genetics and Biology, formerly known as Experimental Mycology, publishes experimental research on fungi and their traditional allies. These studies connect structure and function with growth, reproduction, morphogenesis, and differentiation. The journal particularly welcomes research on gene organization and expression, as well as developmental processes at the cellular, subcellular, and molecular levels. It also includes appropriate experimental investigations into fungal cytology, biochemistry, physiology, genetics, and phylogenetics.
