The Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Ethics welcomes articles discussing the ethical issues related to agriculture, food production, and environmental concerns. The journal aims to create a forum for discussing the moral questions arising from actual or anticipated social policies. These include ethical issues regarding the responsibilities of agricultural producers, assessments of technological changes affecting farming populations, the use of farmland and other resources, the deployment of intensive agriculture, changes in ecosystems, animal welfare, the professional responsibilities of agricultural scientists and veterinarians, and the roles of food scientists in the use of biotechnology, as well as food safety, availability, and affordability.
