Acta Geodynamica et Geomaterialia (AGG) has been published by the Institute of Rock Structure and Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2004. It is the successor to Acta Montana, which was published from the early 1960s until 2003. The journal publishes four issues per year, featuring approximately 40 articles that cover observations related to Central Europe as well as new theoretical developments and interpretations in these fields. Occasionally, research articles from other parts of the world may be published, provided they represent significant advancements in methodology or theoretical development and have global relevance. The editorial board is internationally representative.
