The journal "Boreal Environment Research" publishes original research reports, reviews, and commentaries on various aspects of the northern environment and its natural resources, with a particular focus on environmental issues, their assessment, understanding, and solutions, as well as the sustainable use of natural resources. The term 'northern' is broadly defined to include Arctic, sub-Arctic, and semi-cold temperate conditions, biotic communities, or ecosystems. This journal serves as a forum emphasizing a holistic approach to environmental science, linking the pressures from pollution sources to the impacts of processes occurring in various media on the environment. We welcome articles on monitoring, experimental, theoretical, and modeling research, as well as their combinations.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
