Agroalimentaria is a journal that provides a discussion platform for the national and international academic community interested in the theoretical and practical aspects of social sciences related to agriculture and food. The journal's mission is to identify and promote studies that contribute to this discussion, as well as to circulate information on methodologies, new policies, and other publications of interest regarding the economic and social aspects of the agro-food system. The journal is open to publishing both original research articles and compilations of practical or theoretical interest, accepting submissions in four languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French. It actively engages in exchanges with other similar journals and specialized libraries. To ensure broad coverage of topics and approaches, as well as freedom of expression for its authors, Agroalimentaria does not take responsibility for the opinions expressed in the articles. Furthermore, the journal explicitly allows reproduction of its content without prior authorization, provided that the source is acknowledged. A fundamental concern of the journal's editors remains to offer readers a quality product in both content and editorial production at the lowest possible cost, which is why it uses a double-column format and good yet economical paper.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.

Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
