PHYCOLOGICAL RESEARCH 由日本藻类学会出版,是对日本藻类学杂志的补充。该杂志发表国际性的、基础的或应用的、同行评审的研究,涉及生态学、分类学和系统发育、进化、遗传学、分子生物学、生物化学、细胞生物学、形态学、生理学、新技术的各个方面,以促进国际交流结果。所有文章均由提交论文领域的至少两名研究专家进行同行评审。 PHYCOLOGICAL RESEARCH 已获得国际植物分类学协会的认可,用于注册新的非维管植物名称(包括化石)。
