Acta Phytotaxonomica et Geobotanica (APG) is an international peer-reviewed journal published three times a year by the Japanese Society of Plant Systematics. It continues the tradition of the Kyoto Journal of Plant Geography in Japan. APG primarily publishes research manuscripts in the fields of plant taxonomy, phylogenetics, evolution, conservation, biogeography (including algae and fungi), and related disciplines. Contributions focusing on new taxa, nomenclature, monographs, floristic studies, and genetic variation are also welcomed. All manuscripts should be submitted to the editor-in-chief.

Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
