The journal "Biomarkers" encompasses various aspects of the rapidly evolving field of biomarker research, covering a wide range of uses and applications. It serves as an important forum for exchanging ideas and concepts in all areas of biomarker research. We accept high-quality papers from four main areas, particularly encouraging manuscripts that describe new biomarkers and their subsequent validation: • Biomarkers of disease • Biomarkers of exposure • Biomarkers of response • Biomarkers of susceptibility. Manuscripts may describe biomarkers measured in humans or other animals, as well as in vitro studies. We also welcome submissions of negative data from studies on population susceptibility biomarkers.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
