SYSTEMATIC AND APPLIED ACAROLOGY (SAA) 是 SYSTEMATIC AND APPLIED ACAROLOGY SOCIETY (SAAS) 的国际期刊。该杂志旨在作为世界上所有耳科医师的出版渠道。在 SAA 中出版不收取版面费。如果作者有资金发表，他们可以支付每页 20 美元，以使他们的论文发表以供开放获取。SAA 发表论文报告有关螨虫和蜱虫任何方面的原始研究结果。由于最近投稿量的增加，SAA 编辑在稿件评估中将更具选择性：（1）鼓励更多高质量的非分类论文以解决分类和非分类论文之间的平衡，以及（2）不鼓励单一物种描述（见新特刊单新种描述），同时优先考虑多类群比较处理和修正的高质量系统论文。除了评论论文和研究文章（超过 4 页印刷），我们欢迎简短的信件（最多 4 页印刷），用于短论文的精简版、对其他论文的评论、数据论文（带有一张表格或图表）和简短评论或意见片。信函格式将通过省略摘要、关键词和主要标题（如简介）来节省空间。
