Ancient Near Eastern Studies is a peer-reviewed journal that accepts original articles focused on the languages and cultures of the ancient Near East. The geographical area of primary interest includes the modern lands of Egypt, Israel, the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the Gulf Sheikhdoms. Manuscripts on related languages and cultures in neighboring regions will also be considered.
