Factor effective exclusivebreastfeeding in term infants

Prevention and management of nausea and vomiting are important in cancer treatment. Effective management requires both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Patients and family members have important contributions to achieve effective control of nausea and vomiting through self-management. The objective of this review is to explore and synthesize the scientific literature about self-management strategies as a type of non-pharmacological intervention for managing nausea and vomiting in cancer patients. The articles were searched in PubMed, Science Direct and ClinicalKey databases using keyword combinations of "cancer", “non-pharmacological”, "intervention", "management", "nausea" and "vomiting". The inclusion criteria were articles that were free; full text; published in the last five years; provided information about non-pharmacological strategies in managing nausea and vomiting in cancer; and were written in English. Out of a total of 232 papers identified, 21 were selected. The results show that non-pharmacological management of nausea and vomiting ranged from simple self-management techniques to integrative therapies and palliative interventions. Self-management emphasizes patient autonomy in their own care and encourages patients and families to assume the responsibility of managing relevant aspects of their condition. The strategies include dietary modifications, environmental modifications, psychological strategies, exercise and taking of medication as prescribed. The interventions discussed in this article can be applied by patients as directed or instructed by healthcare teams. Nurses play an important role in educating patients on non-pharmacological interventions and encouraging them to achieve self-efficacy. Further research of other such interventions with larger sample sizes is needed to provide more accurate results.

Manajemen Nonfarmakologis Mual dan Muntah pada Kanker: Scoping Review. Pencegahan dan pengelolaan mual dan muntah penting dalam pengobatan kanker, yang efektif dengan intervensi farmakologis dan nonfarmakologis. Pasien dan anggota keluarga pun mempunyai kontribusi penting untuk mencapai pengendalian mual dan muntah yang efektif melalui manajemen diri pasien. Tujuan dari tinjauan ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dan menyintesis literatur ilmiah tentang strategi manajemen diri sebagai jenis intervensi nonfarmakologis untuk mengelola mual dan muntah pada pasien kanker. Artikel-artikel tersebut dicari di basis data PubMed, Science Direct, dan ClinicalKey menggunakan kombinasi kata kunci "kanker", "non-farmakologis", "intervensi", "manajemen", "mual", dan "muntah" dengan kriteria inklusi seperti: artikel tidak berbayar; teks lengkap; diterbitkan dalam lima tahun terakhir; memberikan informasi tentang strategi non farmakologis dalam manajemen mual muntah pada pasien kanker; dan ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris. Dari total 232 makalah yang diidentifikasi, 21 dipilih untuk penelitian ini. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa manajemen nonfarmakologis mual dan muntah meliputi teknik manajemen diri yang sederhana hingga terapi integratif dan intervensi paliatif. Manajemen diri menekankan otonomi pasien dalam perawatan mandiri dengan mendorong pasien dan keluarga untuk bertanggung jawab mengelola aspek yang relevan dari kondisi mereka. Strategi tersebut meliputi modifikasi pola makan, modifikasi lingkungan, strategi psikologis, olahraga, dan minum obat sesuai resep. Intervensi yang dibahas dalam artikel ini dapat diterapkan oleh pasien seperti yang diarahkan atau diinstruksikan oleh tim kesehatan. Perawat memainkan peran penting dalam mendidik pasien tentang intervensi nonfarmakologis dan mendorong mereka untuk mencapai efikasi diri. Penelitian lebih lanjut dari intervensi serupa lainnya dengan ukuran sampel yang lebih besar diperlukan untuk memberikan hasil yang lebih akurat.

Non-Pharmacological Management of Nausea and Vomiting in Cancer: A Scoping Review

Concern for adolescents usually focuses on physical problems, such as reproductive health and nutrition, including anemia and obesity. Nowadays, adolescent mental health has been recognized as essential, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Mental health problems that often occur in adolescents include anxiety, depression, and the risk of suicide. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of mental health problems and the risk of suicide among adolescent students in Bali Province, Indonesia. The sample consisted of 435 students from four junior high schools (Grades 7, 8, and 9) aged 12–15 years who were selected with a multistage sampling technique. This descriptive study applied the Indonesian version of the Pediatrics Symptom Checklist-Youth (PSC-Y) report. The results showed that 14.5% of adolescent students experienced mental health problems, and 6.7% had a risk of suicide. Screening for adolescent mental health, especially in school, is important to ensure normal development and detect mental health problems as early as possible.

Masalah Kesehatan Jiwa pada Siswa Remaja. Dewasa ini, masalah fisik kerap menjadi perhatian pada remaja, seperti kesehatan reproduksi dan nutrisi (anemia dan obesitas), dan masih sangat sedikit orang yang memerhatikan masalah kesehatan jiwa. Padahal, kesehatan jiwa memiliki peran penting dalam tahap kehidupan remaja kedepannya. Belakangan ini, masalah kesehatan jiwa yang banyak ditemui pada remaja adalah ansietas, depresi, dan risiko bunuh diri. Kasus-kasus kejiwaan tersebut belum terdokumentasi dengan baik karena tidak ada deteksi dini terhadap masalah kesehatan jiwa di Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prevalensi masalah kesehatan jiwa dan risiko bunuh diri pada siswa remaja di Bali, Indonesia. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah 435 siswa remaja dari empat SMP di Kota Denpasar (Kelas 7, 8, dan 9) berusia 12 – 15 tahun yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik multistage simple random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi deskriptif kuantitatif dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Pediatrics Symptom Checklist-Youth (PSC-Y) Report, yang diolah menggunakan SPSS dengan interval kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 14,5% siswa remaja mengalami masalah kesehatan jiwa dan 6,7% memiliki risiko bunuh diri. Skrining kesehatan mental remaja sangat penting, terutama dilakukan oleh sekolah, untuk menjaga tumbuh kembang remaja dengan jiwa yang sehat dengan mendeteksi sedini mungkin masalah kesehatan mental tersebut.

Mental Health Problems Among Adolescent Students

青少年学生心理健康问题

Older people&rsquo;s health care is carried out by involving the family as a support group. If done optimally, the support provided will help maintain the health of older people. The purpose of the study was to analyze the determinant factors (family support and burden) on the quality and satisfaction of life the older people. This descriptive correlational research was the second stage of previous research related to the identification of caregivers' burden when caring for older people. A sample of 104 respondents was taken through simple random sampling. The results showed that the family support and family burden affected the older people's quality of life (&lt; 0.05), but did not affect the older people's life satisfaction (&gt; 0.05). Family support and burdens affect the QoL for older people, which is due to the family's ability in caring for older people and the need for long-term services at home. Recommendations for health workers, especially nurses, are to focus not only on the elderly but also to the family's physical, psychological, and financial burdens to increase family support. Abstrak Faktor Determinan dari Kualitas dan Tingkat Kepuasan Hidup Lansia . Lansia yang sehat dapat dicapai dengan melibatkan seluruh anggota keluarga sebagai support group dalam merawat lansia. Karenanya, perawatan yang optimal oleh keluarga dapat menjaga kesehatan lansia itu sendiri. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor determinan (dukungan keluarga dan beban keluarga) pada kualitas hidup dan kepuasan hidup pada lansia. Penelitian deskriptif korelasional ini merupakan studi tahap kedua dari penelitian sebelumnya, yaitu studi identifikasi masalah pada beban yang dihadapi oleh caregiver. Sebanyak 104 responden sebagai sampel untuk studi ini dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling . Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor dukungan dan beban keluarga mempengaruhi kualitas hidup lansia (&lt; 0,05), namun tidak memengaruhi kepuasan hidup pada lansia (&gt; 0,05). Dukungan keluarga yang memengaruhi kualitas hidup lansia terjadi karena faktor kemampuan keluarga itu sendiri dalam merawat lansia dan faktor kebutuhan jangka panjang dalam merawat lansia itu sendiri. Rekomendasi untuk para tenaga kesehatan, khususnya perawat, adalah untuk fokus tidak hanya pada lansia namun juga pada keluarga dari aspek beban fisik, mental dan finansial, untuk meningkatkan dukungan keluarga. Determinant Factors of Quality and Life Satisfaction of the Older People

Commercial sex workers (CSWs) represent a key population for HIV transmission. CSWs continue to thrive because of the development of the tourism sector and the acceptance of communities. This study aimed to identify the factors associated with risky sexual behavior among CSWs living with HIV. A cross-sectional design was adopted. The sample size was set to 80 CSWs living with HIV in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java. Chi-square and multiple logistic regression were used in the data analysis. Results showed the significant relationship of self-efficacy (p &lt; 0.001; OR = 9.365) and feeling secure (p= 0.033; OR= 2.762) with risky sexual behavior. No significant relationship was noted between income (p= 0.244), knowledge (p= 0.110), attitude (p= 0.978), drug use (p= 0.150), alcohol consumption (p= 0.642), and sexual violence (p= 0.968) and risky sexual behavior. Nursing practices are expected to focus on promotive and preventative efforts by involving communities in enhancing the feeling of security and self-efficacy of CSWs through health programs and improvement of health facilities. &nbsp; Abstrak Efikasi Diri dan Perasaan Aman Berhubungan dengan Perilaku Seksual Berisiko pada Pekerja Seks Komersial dengan HIV. Pekerja Seks Komersial (PSK) menjadi populasi kunci penularan HIV. Perkembangan sektor pariwisata dan penerimaan masyarakat menjadikan PSK tetap bertahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku seksual berisiko pada PSK dengan HIV positif. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional dengan jumlah sampel 80 Orang Dengan HIV AIDS (ODHA) PSK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dan Jawa Tengah. Analisis data menggunakan Chi-Square dan regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri (p&lt; 0,001; OR= 9,365) dan perasaan aman (p= 0,033; OR= 2,762) dengan perilaku seksual berisiko. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penghasilan (p= 0,244), pengetahuan (p= 0,110), sikap (p= 0,978), pemakaian narkoba (p= 0,150), konsumsi alkohol (p= 0,642), dan kekerasan seksual (p= 0,968) dengan perilaku seksual berisiko. Pelayanan keperawatan diharapkan lebih berfokus pada upaya promotif dan preventif dengan melibatkan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan rasa aman dan efikasi diri PSK melalui program-program kesehatan dan peningkatan fasilitas kesehatan. Self-Efficacy and Feeling of Security Associated with Risky Sexual Behavior among Commercial Sex Workers Living with HIV

Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase I in Patient Undergoing Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Surgery. A patient undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting CABG surgery has a risk of post operative complication, which can cause prolonged length of stay and even mortality. The patient necessarily needs to do intervention cardiac rehabilitation phase I to help the recovery process after surgery and prevent post operative complications. The articles related to cardiac rehabilitation have been carried out. However, it is necessary to review research articles about the effective and safe intervention of cardiac rehabilitation phase I for patients undergoing CABG surgery. The aim of this study was to explore the effective and safe intervention of cardiac rehabilitation phase I. This literature review was conducted by analyzing articles including randomized control trial until retrospective design which published between 2008 until 2018 with English language articles. Data was searched through Google Scholar, PubMed, DOAJ, and Proquest. The keyword was early ambulation, coronary artery bypass grafting, preoperative education, physical exercise, early mobilization, and cardiac rehabilitation phase I or inpatient cardiac rehabilitation. The finding in this literature review was 13 articles corresponding with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The result of this study found that the intervention in cardiac rehabilitation phase I in patient who undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting surgery was started from preoperative and continued postoperative phases until the patient will leave the hospital. Interventions in cardiac rehabilitation phase I consisted of education and counseling, physical exercise/ activity, breathing exercises, effective cough exercises, inspiratory muscle training, chest physiotherapy, and respiratory muscle stretch gymnastics. Therefore, the result of this literature review can be the basis to determine standard operational procedure for the implementation of the cardiac rehabilitation phase I for the hospitals that provide CABG surgery.
