Applicable Analysis and Discrete Mathematics

In this research paper, a new concept called ?- ? -multivalued contractions is introduced for an ?-admissible mapping in the context of b-metric spaces, which is an extension of the ?-?-contractions originally proposed by Rossafi et al. in 2023. Several fixed point theorems are established, including the ?-admissible ?-?-multivalued theorem of Kanan and the ?-admissible ?-?- multivalued theorem of Riech, all in the framework of b-metric spaces. The applicability of these results is demonstrated using illustrative examples.

The aim of this paper is to find new moment formulas for geometric distribution by using moments of the geometric distribution in terms of Apostol-type and Bernstein polynomials, and Fubini and Eulerian numbers, etc. A new generating function for moments of the geometric distribution is constructed. New sequences of special numbers with their recurrence relations are given. In order to compute values of these sequences and moments, codes in Wolfram language are given.

For r?(0,1), let K(r) be the complete elliptic integral of the first kind. In this paper, by introducing two classes of logarithmic-type functions, and proving the monotonicity and absolutely monotonicity properties of certain functions involving K(r) and the logarithmic-type functions, several new functional inequalities for K(r) will be derived, which improve some previous known results.

In this paper we investigate the representation of integrals involving the product of the Legendre Chi function, polylogarithm function and log function. We will show that in many cases these integrals take an explicit form involving the Riemann zeta function, the Dirichlet Eta function, Dirichlet lambda function and many other special functions. Some examples illustrating the theorems will be detailed.

The aim of this work is to give some sharp refinements of some inequalities involving the arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means. We use the Equal Variable Theorem (EV Theorem). Our method can be applied to a wide class of inequalities.
