The Health Information and Libraries Journal (HILJ) provides an international and interdisciplinary forum for practitioners, researchers, and students in the library and health professions. Its objectives are to encourage discussion and disseminate developments at the forefront of information management and libraries. A major focus is on communicating evidence-based practices in both information management and healthcare support. The journal encompasses: - Identifying health information needs and uses - Managing programs and services in the changing health environment - Information technology and applications in health - Educating and training health information professionals - Outreach to health user groups.
