The IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications publishes high-quality manuscripts on the latest advancements in wireless communication technologies. We encourage theoretical contributions (including new technologies, concepts, and analyses) as well as practical contributions (including system experiments, prototypes, and new applications). The general scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: modulation and coding, detection and estimation, diversity techniques and equalization, propagation and channel characterization, fading mitigation, multi-user detection, signal separation and interference suppression, DSP applications to wireless systems, broadband wireless communications, network architectures and protocols, with a focus on physical and link layer communications, adaptive antennas for wireless systems, multiple access techniques, space-time processing, synchronization techniques, software-defined radio, resource allocation and interference management, multi-rate and multi-carrier communications, security, privacy, and authentication, experimental and prototype results, systems and services, including mobile satellite, wireless local loop, wireless LAN, wireless PBX, and PCS/cellular. Additionally, we encourage research on specific topics or more traditional themes not necessarily tied to specific applications. Examples include simulation tools and methods for design, analysis, rapid prototyping, performance prediction, and cellular system engineering; orthogonal frequency division multiplexing; MIMO systems; and fiber-based wireless.

Journal Citation Format
Those examples are references to articles in scholarly journals and how they are supposed to appear in your bibliography.
Not all journals organize their published articles in volumes and issues, so these fields are optional. Some electronic journals do not provide a page range, but instead list an article identifier. In a case like this it's safe to use the article identifier instead of the page range.
A journal article with 1 author
A journal article with 2 authors
A journal article with 3 authors
A journal article with 5 or more authors
Books Citation Format
Here are examples of references for authored and edited books.

Sometimes references to web sites should appear directly in the text rather than in the bibliography.
