Ethnobotany Research & Applications is an electronic, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, and multilingual journal dedicated to the rapid dissemination of current research. Manuscript submission, peer review, and publication are all conducted online. The journal is published by the Department of Ethnobotany at the Institute of Botany, Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia. The journal seeks manuscripts that are novel, integrative, and accessible to a wide audience. This includes a range of disciplines in the biological and social sciences, particularly those addressing theoretical questions that lead to practical applications. Articles may also reflect the perspectives of cultural practitioners, poets, and others with insights into plants, people, and applied research. The journal publishes database papers, ethnobiological inventories, photo essays, methodology reviews, education studies, and theoretical discussions. It also publishes original research described in indigenous languages. We encourage submissions that take advantage of the unique opportunities offered by an electronic journal, such as color illustrations, animated model outputs, downloadable models, and datasets.
